Jeff and I have officially moved into our new NYC apartment and while we still have some progress to be made on unpacking boxes, we have been discussing our vision for the interior design for some time now. Both of us really like neutral, clean colors with rustic accents and lots of texture.
Currently I am on the hunt for an area rug to put in our living space underneath the ottoman and couch.
I am very much into the idea of a light-colored shag rug with some darker accent pattern. The shag texture is warm, comfortable and homey while the light color works well with our simple color scheme and adds a lightness to the space.
