Everyone knows the old adage that says you can't wear white after labor day.
In recent years however, winter white has made a comeback and the old fashion laws simply no longer apply. I love white
jeans and think pairing them with sweaters, leather jackets and plaids
looks great once the weather cools down. Black is an old standby but white looks fresh and modern.
I decided to hop on the loafer mule trend and picked up this pair from Zara. I must say, they are one of the comfiest pairs of shoes I now own and is a great budget-friendly version if you want to test out the style without investing too much money. With this all-white/cream look the black loafers help to ground the outfit and tie in the black sunglasses and cheetah bag.
The key to wearing white jeans into the fall months is making sure you are pairing them with other items that are seasonally appropriate. Anything that looks remotely like a summertime garment is a big no-no. Instead, pair your white denim with chunky sweaters, flannel button-downs and boots. Darker colors will help tone down the summer-feeling, but I also love how white and cream sweaters look with the white denim. Just make sure you are keeping the fabrics you pair with the jeans on the heavy-side.
